JABOG Hockey is a recreational non-contact league and is for the enjoyment of all players and officials. Body contact, fighting, verbal and/or physical abuse of an officials or fellow player will not be tolerated and may result in suspension or ejection from the league without refund. Alcohol is not permitted in the dressing rooms. Anyone caught in violation of this may be removed from the league.

Teams are based on a draft system to try and keep all teams even. Failure of players to attend games jeopardises this structure. Poor attendance will result in either ejection from the league without refund or refused registration in future years.
